CCI FSS, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert (SME), TNT Melt Pour Area to join our team. The SME will provide expert guidance, support, and insights to the TNT Melt Pour Area at Picatinny Arsenal to drive innovation, resolve complex technical issues, and support project objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of engineering principles, industry standards, and emerging technologies relevant to their area of expertise.

This position will be located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical advice and support on complex engineering problems, projects, and initiatives.
  • Serve as the go-to person for technical questions and challenges within your area of specialization.
  • Analyze and interpret technical data, design specifications, and engineering requirements.
  • Review and validate engineering designs, models, and simulations to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and potential engineering issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements in your field.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Conduct research and development to advance knowledge and solve technical challenges.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of technical processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Prepare and present detailed technical reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of technical findings and decisions.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and team members on technical topics and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 25+ years experience with an expertise troubleshooting Melt Pour problems, including controlled cooling
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability and willingness to pass background checks and gain access to customer facilities.
  • Up to 5% travel within in the U.S. and Canada
