Overview
The Insmed Summer Internship Program gives students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment in the pharmaceutical industry, receive mentoring from highly skilled professionals, and work on dynamic team projects. Our 2025 Summer Intern program is a full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship. The internship may present opportunities for rotational assignments within the function, and the intern will be assigned goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the company.
Responsibilities
- Support the Clinical Development team on multiple short- and long- term projects with multiple internal stakeholders
- Work with clinicians and clinical research scientists to assist in the execution of ongoing clinical trials
- Conduct data review on an ongoing basis to ensure quality data for analysis
- Analyze study data for safety signals and trends
- Perform quality review of clinical documents to ensure consistency and clarity
- Assist cross functional teams on program projects as needed
- Develop knowledge of Clinical Development and its role in the drug development process
- Ensure assigned projects are finalized and submitted in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Interested in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry
- University student currently in full-time pursuit of an advanced level degree in a health or life sciences field such as: Pharmacy (PharmD), Nursing, Pre-Med/Medical school, or other graduate level health or life sciences
- High level understanding of the drug development process
- Basic to advanced understanding of medical vocabulary
- Ability to work independently
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Must successfully exhibit Insmed's five (5) corporate values: Collaboration, Accountability, Passion, Integrity & Respect; along with any other position specific competencies
- Individuals must demonstrate the ability to interact successfully in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace
Salary Range $23 - $24 an hour
Compensation & Benefits Eligible for paid company holidays during the intern program.
