Talent Acquisition Supervisor

BHN is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Supervisor . The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders and aligning their needs and interests. They are extremely organized, able to handle fast-paced, full cycle recruiting for one or more business units, and able to define their work process and quickly establish an "operating rhythm" to support the high-volume nature of our recruitment efforts. They are systematic in approach and able to maintain a focus on quality/value and quantity/efficiency simultaneously. Speaking to candidates is exciting to the ideal candidate. They are passionate about recruiting top talent, motivated and inspired by the work of BHN and can't wait to share our opportunities with others.

The TA Supervisor will engage in proactive relationships with hiring managers to fully understand their needs, develop talent acquisition strategies, and establish credibility and trust to make hiring decisions on their behalf.

Will conduct all of the above responsibilities plus:

  • Creates and implements a comprehensive training plan for Talent Acquisition specialists, ensuring proficiency in the full recruiting lifecycle. This includes fostering strong relationships and trust with hiring managers, developing interview skills, developing effective sourcing and recruitment strategies, and enhancing overall recruiting effectiveness
  • Supervise, mentor, and hold Talent Acquisition Specialists accountable to their recruiting metrics
  • Ensures best practice in regard to recruitment and selection activities, ensuring timely responses to hiring managers and candidate inquiries
  • Evaluate and implement technology, infrastructure, recruitment processes and assessments/tools that support the recruitment of the best talent
  • Supervisors are accountable for the full end to end recruitment lifecycle for one or more business units, including writing and composition of position descriptions, kick off meeting, sourcing strategy sessions and execution, interviewing, and making job offers
  • Responsible for development, implementation, and administration of recruitment strategies for high level and specialized positions
  • Lead employer branding initiatives and collaborate with the marketing department to ensure a consistent company message.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to help develop and implement innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment strategies that are appropriate for their business needs and consistent with the organization's overall Business and HR & People strategies
  • Evaluate external market trends and internal employee turnover on specialized and difficult-to-fill positions to recommend changes and improvements to leadership on recruitment strategies
  • Develop and facilitate training on the applicant tracking system and on hiring process and practices
  • Strategically uncover passive candidates and attract active candidates through a variety of unique sourcing methods
  • Collaborate with the Performance and Engagement Director and HR Business Partners with regular updates on sourcing progress
  • By engaging in external networking serves as an ambassador to continually improve BHN's reputation
  • Maintain long-term ties with former and prospective job candidates
