Internship Program Overview:
Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. Summary of Role:
As a Global Tapeout and Mast Operations (GTMO) Biz App and data intern, the candidate will work with our team of engineers and product owners on business transformation projects that drive process optimizations and infrastructure modernization. Candidates will be exposed to cloud technology transformations with the greenfield approach and industry best practices. Members of this team enjoy strong career development opportunities through:

- Developing complex technology solutions using agile methodologies.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Working with cross-functional teams to create software solutions.
- Enabling scalable, Electronic Design Automation (EDA) functions in a Cloud environment.
- Create data diagrams, data mapping and process documentation as needed.
- Data analytics on Tapeout processing key performance indicators (KPIs), to drive optimized performance of Cloud Tapeout execution.
- Architecting and developing Python, Angular, Java based software supplications in AWS and or Azure cloud platforms.
Other Responsibilities:- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education - At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of creating Data/Entity relationship diagrams/ data mapping documentation
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
- Knowledge of writing code using Python/Java and AngularJS technologies.
- Knowledge of developing applications in AWS utilizing out of box services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related internship or co-op experience
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
- Ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning & organizational skills
- Must be proactive, with a desire to continuously improve system solutions, documentation and process & procedures.
- Knowledge/working with Semi-conductor domain (Foundry) is an added plus.
