As a Sales Professional, a typical day might include the following:
- Use advanced business tools to maintain and enhance customer relationships, track opportunities, and streamline sales activities.
- Own and manage the sales relationship, handle quoting and qualify leads for assigned territory.
- Expand sales with existing customer accounts by introducing and recommending new products and services; working with sales teams to identify needs to be filled by SEL products and services. Assist with sales prospecting activities, as well as managing and identifying opportunities to increase sales.
- Enhance customer service for assigned clients by supporting order processing and fulfillment, handling RMA requests, resolving customer feedback, and managing NPS/survey responses to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide administrative and customer service support to management, sales engineers, or outside sales reps to ensure seamless operations.
This job might be for you if you have:
- 7 years of experience in technical sales, or a related field
- Proven account management experience
- Demonstrated success working in a customer facing role
- Strong business acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing abilities
- Effective and engaging communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Utility and industrial industry experience (preferred)
- Experience with control cabinets, enclosures or panels (preferred)

Pay Range DataWe anticipate filling this position as a Sales Professional or Account Representative:
$67,300 - $90,000 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
