The University of Chicago's Department of Public Health Sciences seeks faculty at the rank of assistant professor in Biostatistics. We welcome applicants whose research encompasses broad areas in statistical and biostatical methods development and applied research fields. Research areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, spatial statistics, environmental statistics, causal inference, and pragmatic study designs. Public Health Sciences faculty carry out independent research, collaborative research, and education of undergraduate, graduate, and/or medical students and fellows. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
