THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS COLLEGE OF LAW invites applications for positions on the tenured/tenure-track faculty to begin in August 2025. The College welcomes applications from scholars in all subject areas of the law but has particular interests in hiring in the following areas: civil rights, intellectual property law, law & technology, and tax law.

Applicants must have a J.D. or Ph.D. or their equivalent, a strong academic record, and a record of scholarly distinction or great scholarly promise.

These are one-hundred percent time tenure-track positions appointed on a 9/12 basis. The expected start date is August 16, 2025. Salary is commensurate with experience but at a minimum of $160,000. The University of Illinois offers an outstanding and comprehensive benefit package.
