*What You Do.*



* Evaluate pricing and promotional tactics in the cheese and other dairy adjacencies, expanding Sargento's competitive library.

* Identify pricing and promotional tactics utilized by competitors within the dairy case

* Work with the Post Promotion & Pricing Analyst to objectively assess the potential effectiveness of these untapped tactics.

* Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as CIM, Sales Planning & Execution, and Marketing to share the findings and suggest areas for testing.

* Identify areas of strength or opportunity for Sargento in the dairy case with their current go-to-market strategy.

* Practice the elements of a competitive analysis, focusing on price and promotion.

* Gain experience in analyzing pricing and promotion effectiveness.

* Develop awareness of CPG retailers (Consumer Packaged Goods).

* Acquire experience in aligning and evaluating consumption data and performance metrics.

* Collaborate with cross-functional departments to create recommendations and seek feedback to improve overall recommendations.

*Your Education and Qualifications.*



* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, economics, analytics or related field having completed junior year prior to start of the internship

* Passion for learning and growing in the Trade & Demand Planning field

* Ability to create/write reports, business correspondence, and produce manuals.

* Prosses the technical ability to efficiently present information and to respond to questions from groups of Managers, clients, customers, and the general public




* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

* Ability to interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills

* Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

* Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required. There is no mass/public transit system to/from corporate housing location to company locations.
