Experienced Trademark Paralegal Opportunity

An established and highly regarded law firm in San Diego is seeking an experienced Trademark Paralegal. This role offers a competitive salary based on experience. The role has a hybrid schedule or fully remote option for candidates residing in Southern California. TRADEMARK experience is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys with all aspects of trademark registration, maintenance, renewals, and administrative proceedings within the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and international trademark offices.
• Gather client information related to trademark matters; conduct trademark clearance searches; review office actions and summarize issues for attorneys; analyze and communicate official correspondence to attorneys and clients; prepare and file trademark-related documents, including assignments and power of attorney forms; ensure compliance with official deadlines; liaise with international colleagues regarding trademark matters; report deadlines to docket clerks and provide necessary instructions; and manage other paralegal responsibilities for client trademark portfolios.
• Assist with intellectual property enforcement, including preparing and filing pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and similar documents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate.
• At least four to five years of IP Paralegal experience, with a strong focus on trademark matters.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
• Preferred but not required: experience in patent and copyright matters.
• Familiarity with USPTO rules and electronic filing systems.
• Independent worker with the initiative to complete projects efficiently.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
