The User Experience andTechnology position will lead user-focused customer service initiatives by managingengagement initiatives. This role will supervise the Access Services team toprovide excellent customer service and coordinates user technology inconjunction with our IT department. With assistance from the Access Servicesstaff, this role will maintain the library's physical collections and be the pointof contact for The Oklahoma Textbook Review Center. Performs variousprofessional duties including research assistance, collection development, servingon campus and library committees, instructional duties, marketing, eventmanagement, training staff and creating training materials, and engaging theonline student.

Minimum:
- Master's Degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent degree
- 1-3 years current library experience,academic preferred or relevant library experience with demonstrated leadershipcapabilities or supervisory experience
- Experience or understanding of customer service and service management.
- Understanding of training and teaching of library systems and functions across multiple platforms and/or modalities
- Experience with providing reference and literature assistance in a library context.
- Understanding current initiatives for academic libraries.
- Understanding of current technologies and software.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to foster positive and collaborative working partnerships and relationships.

- Masters of Library Science
- ALA Accredited
- Project Management Experience
- Staff Development
- Change Management Experience
- Customer Service
- Knowledge ofeducational technology trends.
Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:
- Understanding of thechanging research dynamics and operations of a 21st century academiclibrary
- Must embrace innovation, change and be proficient in learning newtechnologies
- Must demonstrate leadership skills, exemplify productive workhabits, manage and complete multiple projects, and demonstrate attention todetail
- Additional skills needed includeeffective decision making, customer service, team building, impactful teaching,and excellent communication skills in listening, both verbal and written. - Variouslibrary software experience like Springshare, library search systems anddatabases.
