Overview
The Vendor Recovery Representative is responsible for billing vendor amounts due for depletion allowances and reimbursement of other expenses
Duties and Responsibilities
- Billing vendor amounts due for depletion allowances and reimbursement of expenses from multiple systems
- Update vendor contact details on vendor profile sheet
- Facilitate depletion allowance billing by inputting depletions data into vendor web portals
- Update vendor systems with detailed vendor recovery claims, including required backup
- Issue vendor accounts receivable statements and aging reports
- Track and respond to rejected vendor recovery requests
- Review and analyze vendor recovery billed and paid to minimize inconsistencies in gross profit and expenses
- Respond to vendor accounts receivable calls
- Work closely with internal teams to investigate vendor recovery concerns
- Work with branch personnel to ensure proper documentation is submitted with branch vendor recovery requests
- Suggest process improvements to maximize accuracy and efficiency
- Submit supplier expenses into respective portals for reimbursement
- Generate and save images of vendor recovery billings and backup documentation
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalency plus 3 years of experience
•Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills
•Self-starter with good problem solving and communications skills
Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor degree in accounting or finance plus 1 year of experience; or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
• Experience in the wholesale beverage alcohol industry
• Strong organizational skills with ability to balance multiple priorities
Physical Demands
• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
