We are currently hiring for a
Welder - 2nd shift.
Hours are 3:00PM - 1AM (Monday - Friday)
*Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays and overtime as available, optional never required!.
The purpose of this position is to weld various types of materials, assemblies and components off of heavy and or industrial equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain safe, secure and healthy welding environment
- Ability to mig, tig, bore-tech, pulse and submerge arc weld
- Ability to use plasma cutting, acetylene torch and air arc equipment
- Ability to fabricate necessary tooling and or fixtures required for rebuild shop
- Check parts after weld and clean up any splatter found, report any defects the weld process may have caused to department lead or supervisor
- Recognize problems and offer solutions as they relate to your job and work

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY: - 5 years welding experience and hold current weld certification
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: - Have good fabrication and welding skills
- Demonstrate accuracy working in a fast-paced environment
- Have the knowledge, care, recognition and understanding of all equipment used
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
High school diploma or GED required, comparable trade school or apprenticeship experience a plus
