We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Instructor to join our talented team.

In this role you will...

  • Provides DoD Nuclear Incident Response information and advice.
  • Instructs in classroom settings, via MTT, via distance learning, and in the field.
  • Incident response topics training to include, but not limited to: History of Nuclear Weapons Accidents, Nuclear weapons transportation, Nuclear weapons incident response, Psychological effects of Ionizing Radiation, Modeling and Simulation Overview, Personal Protective Equipment and Command and Control during field events
  • Assists with class preparation before, during and after each class.
  • Plan, design, develop, evaluate, and maintain training courses and course modules as new reference material fielded.
  • Reviews course critiques and maintains data for purposes of making course content changes.
  • Initiates course revisions and perform quality assurance checks.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching nuclear weapons response courses at the DoD level.
  • Previous instructional experience required.
  • Ability to lift 25/50/70 pounds regularly
  • Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
  • The ability to work in extreme weather (>95 degrees Fahrenheit or < 30 degrees Fahrenheit) while wearing protective clothing.
  • Ability to climb structures greater than or equal to 4 feet.
  • Experience with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop presentations and brief senior leaders.
Clearance Requirement:
  • Current DOD Top Secret (TS) security clearance required.
Other Requirements:
  • Must have expert knowledge of DoD, National and applicable service and agency security policy, manuals and standards. Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners
  • Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
  • May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
  • Must be able to regularly list up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • All Level I & Level II positions - candidate should possess some Special Access Program (SAP) experience
  • All Level III positions -candidate should possess 2+ years of Special Access Program (SAP) experience
